ELAWe are continuing to work on paragraph structure and formatting a compare and contrast essay. We should also be finishing up our novel, Thunder Rolling in the Mountains. I am confident that the class will be able to have their first essay completed before Christmas break! Once we begin the drafting process I will send out an email letting you know. It would be a great help to me if you could review their work and check for simple grammar and punctuation errors and discuss it with them! MathWe just finished the first half of Module 2! For the second half of the module we will be focusing on division of decimals. Division can often be difficult for students so ask them about their homework and give it a quick look! If your student is struggling with homework please let me know so I can check in with them the following class. ReligionThe class was just assigned their Cereal Box Saint Project! The class will be creating a cereal box with information about their Faith Family Saint. All of the information is on the print out that I handed out today in class. It should be in their portfolios. Most if not all of the work will be done in class. Social StudiesIn Social Studies we are continuing with the Native American Tribe Project! This is a very fun and challenging project. Some of the materials will need to be created at home. Please make sure to check in with your student!
