Hello All! November is a busy and short month! In order to be successful this month please make sure that your student is staying up to date with homework and projects. ELAIn ELA we are beginning to draft our compare and contrast essay! We are currently working on our graphic organizers in class and will then begin drafting the essay on google docs. Once on google docs PLEASE proof read your students essays and look for simple grammar and punctuation mistakes. I will leave comments on their first draft so they can revise before submitting their final draft. FINAL DRAFT DUE DATE: 11/16/18 MATHOur Module 2 Mid Module Test will be THIS FRIDAY 11/9/18. We will be reviewing all week in class in order to prepare. The following week before Thanksgiving break we will be doing Thanksgiving themed math review activities and will continue with the second half of Module 2 when we return from break! SOCIAL STUDIES/ SCIENCEThe class is continuing to work hard on their Native American Tribe Projects! I am very proud of their work thus far. In science we are continuing to study animal nutrition and are watching painted lady larvae transform into butterflies! Stay tuned on Class Dojo. I am currently planning on having our next science assessment on 11/16/18. COLONIAL DAYI will be getting the date of the MANDATORY parent meeting for Colonial Day to you by the end of this week. I can't wait to meet with you all and discuss this wonderful service learning opportunity!
