CurriculumELA: We are continuing with the topic of breaking barriers through sports. We are currently learning about women breaking stereotypes with the #playlikeagirl campaign and also learning about influential women such as Bobbi Gibb and Billie Jean King. Social Studies: We are moving on Revolutionary times! We will be starting with Week 19 and the Boston Tea Party. The class is loving how they "spilled the tea" back in history! Math: We are now on Module 5! The class will be working with Volume and Area of shapes. I am hoping to complete this module by the end of the year. Science: We are still working with mixtures and solutions until the end of the year. Before break students learned the differences between a mixture and solution. They also learned how to separate a salt water solution. Colonial DayThank you all so much for helping make this years Colonial Day a success!
